Abstract Submission

Welcome the Alaska Marine Science Symposium Abstract submission system.

This site is divided into 5 parts: General Information; Abstract; Sections; Authors; Student Info

Fill out the information requested in each tab, and remember to hit SAVE as you do so. When you are finished with all five tabs, click SUBMIT to send your abstract information to the Alaska Marine Science Symposium.

You will receive a confirmation email once you have successfully submitted your abstract.

NOTE: Successful abstract submission does NOT include symposium registration of the applicant or authors. Please use the 2010 Alaska Marine Science Symposium Registration link to register.

General Information

Please provide information on the abstract title and contact information of the person submitting the abstract. You will be sent an email with a link once you hit ‘Add New Abstract’ that will allow you to come back to this information at any time in case you experience technical difficulties, want to make edits, or add another abstract. To submit a second abstract you will need to hit ‘Clear All Forms’ or restart your browser. Edits to any given abstracts will only be possible until you hit the ‘Submit Abstract’ button at the bottom of the page (note the “Submit Abstract” button will only appear once you hit “Add New Abstract”). Once submitted, a confirmation email will be sent to you. It is suggested not to close your browser until you have received this confirmation.

Note that you need to fill in this page first and hit ‘Add New Abstract’ before you can access the other sections.

Abstract Contact:

Once all forms are completed you may hit the “Submit Abstract” button from any form. If successful, a confirmation email will be sent to the person indicated on the ‘General Information’ form. Abstract must be submitted by 4 p.m. (Alaska time) November 20, 2009. In the interest of fairness and to allow an adequate review period, no abstract submitted after the November 20, 2009 deadline will be considered. Notifications on abstract acceptance will be sent the week of December 15, 2009.
